The brightest spark about this movie is the chemistry between Saif Ali Khan and Alaya Furniturewalla it just lifts up the movie and makes it all the way more bright and breezy! It’s an absolute non – judgemental , light hearted and fun watch. Saif Ali Khan brings great energy and charm to bear upon the role of Jaswinder “Jazz” Singh making the character so endearing. And his comic timing is spot on! Though this isn’t the first time we are watching him do a role like this but the difference this time is the age factor which is portrayed as it is in reality. Alaya Furniturewalla, in the role of Tia, is wonderfully well cast and does her bit with an effortless ease. Also, Tabu brings so much colour to her one-dimensional part . Kumud Mishra is as usual natural and genuinely beautiful. The non-judgmental way of storytelling is a masterstroke where even the flawed characters are not put under a moralistic scanner for their transgressions.
Nitin Kakkar’s film does a fine balancing act of keeping it fun and enjoyable while showing heart when needed. However, there is a subplot about housing redevelopment that is unnecessarily shoe-horned in the film. Perhaps the intention is to underline Jazz’s change of heart but it is one of the few things that feels forced in this largely likable drama.

Well many people compared this film with Baaghi 3 but there’s a huge difference between the two that is unlike Baaghi 3 Khuda Hafiz actually has a storyline ! Can’t deny the fact that there are similarities but can’t overlook this huge difference as well!
It’s surely an entertaining watch but there’s no surprise element in it as its a stereotypical Bollywood cliche action film where the hero rescues the damsel in distress . However, considering Vidyut Jamwal’s filmography so far ,the action is indeed toned down quite a bit. Even with him tackling a couple of dozen men all at once, the action does not seem totally unbelievable. There is an impromptu, non-choreographed quality to the fight scenes that brings some semblance of reality.
Music is not so impressive except for the track Jaan ban gaye which is really beautiful and soulful. Ahana Kumra and Shiv Panditt’s fake Arabic accent is a huge let down. Their accents grow thick and thin with every alternate scene, and each time is more embarrassing than before. While Annu Kapoor did seem more a natural fit in the land of Noman . The character of Nargis has very little to offer even if the plot revolves around her there is not even a scene, or a minute devoted to actually humanise her.
Khuda Haafiz, therefore, is not without flaws, but it works as an action thriller. Vidyut conveys the nervousness and fear of a man who has lost someone he loves.
A by-the-book thriller, Khuda Haafiz is just entertaining enough. Dive even an inch deeper and the flaws are there for anyone to see.

If I had to say just one word about this movie it would be BEAUTIFUL! Cause it’s beautiful af! Throughout the runtime of 166 minutes it seems like visual poetry going on screen ! The intricacies and complexities of human mind and relationships are beautifully portrayed through an amazing concept . Also the relationship between human beings and time and it’s significance is reflected through metaphors amazingly. There’s a lot more depth in the whole movie than it meets our eyes. If you get it you’ll love it otherwise it might feel a bit lengthy and boring. The acting of the whole cast is terrific. But the stunners are definitely Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett ❤ All over it was a great watch for me it gave me an opportunity for a lot of introspection within and much more!

According to me Rasbhari is a very matured and layered project but in an attempt to address too many issues the central theme somewhere gets lost. The thin line between sleazy and erotic has been maintained well but the whole concept falters in certain places. It explores our prurient society and its need to suppress the sexuality of women by portraying one of the biggest fantasies of everyone i.e hot teacher fantasy . The small town culture is perfectly captured. The series shows us how women are suppressed and stereotyped in our society for expressing their desires. The casting is really good the teenagers along with the supporting cast have done a great job but Swara Bhasar is the major attraction and clearly the show stealer! Also the title song is addictive and beautifuly melodious! It’s definitely an interesting take on sexuality, but instead of focusing on one theme issues like sexual awakening, oppression of women, social pressure on women and small-town desires are all rammed into the eight episodes with not so up to the mark results !

Absolutely not worth watching or investing time in! It’s not even close to the 1st installment of the damage series . Though it’s not a continuation of the 1st part but it’s central theme is somewhat similar i.e. portrayal of strength in female characters. But it fails to justify that very central theme and the performances come across as pure cringe material. The direction and execution is a large failure according to me as the very base of the series the script is absolutely rubbish. They tried to explore a folklore giving it a thriller like treatment but sadly didn’t work! Hina Khan does a fair job as the lead actress though but couldn’t save the ship from tanking down.

Criminal Justice is an absolute delight to watch!! It’s a crime thriller, court drama and police procedural all rolled into one. Storytelling, plot development, direction, execution, acting everything is fucking on point 🔥 The murder mystery remains intact till the very end and the plot development is so bloody good that it holds the suspense very well and keeps us on the edge of our seats. Not even for a minute does it become predictable. Vikrant Massey as Aditya Sharma owns the screen the more I see of him the more I start loving him he’s just so bloody good! The star of the series is definitely Pankaj Tripathi as Madhav Mishra the lawyer he nails it whenever he comes on screen! He’s the perfect example of a grey character with so many shades and he successfully portrays all of it beautifully. Three more special mentions are Jackie Shroff as Mustafa he has this heavy aura of him whenever he’s on screen , Dibyendu Bhattacharya as Layak Talukdar he’s just so damn excellent and lastly Anupriya Goenka as Nikhat Hussain simple yet so strong. Criminal Justice explores the ugly side of our judicial system so well that it submerges you in the world of it and disturbs you to your very conscious and sub conscious core!!

I still have the book “The Class of 83 : The punishers of Mumbai Police” by S. Hussain Zaidi wish listed in my Flipkart account only because I found the plot interesting which is also the case in the movie the whole movie has a very interesting feel to it. The treatment and execution of the movie is impressively realistic. The supporting cast was fabulous and filled with raw talent but Bobby Deol as the lead was averagely good I’ll say he wasn’t phenomenally great or outstanding but he did fair justice to the role as per his capability. I love the fact how Bollywood is evolving with action genre films these days which is very much evident in this movie like for example instead of those ‘dhaash dhush’ sound effects in action sequences real sound is used. Also, how the whole cast including the lead actor has been given absolute realistic costume and make up there has been no attempt in hiding age it’s really good to watch! Except for a few parts in the movie where there has been a slight bollywoodish treatment overall it’s a good watch!!

After ages a Chetan Bhagat book which is not sex driven and random boy meets girl love story rather it’s a murder mystery. Started reading it with full confidence of it being another disappointment but rather it turned out to be impressive!!
